NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Driver 531.79 Update: Redfall Optimization, DLSS Support & Crash Fixes. NVIDIA has launched the most recent version of its GeForce Game Ready drivers, numbered 531.79 WHQL.

This update ensures optimal in-game performance on the release day of Redfall, Arkane's horror adventure shooter featuring DLSS 3 technology. The Game Ready Driver also includes support for DLSS 2 technology in several other new titles, such as Showgunners and the forthcoming Diablo IV Server Slam event on May 12.

Users of RTX 30-series graphics cards have previously encountered application crashes in Battlefield 2042, The Last of Us, and the Unreal Editor. Today's patch notes reveal that these issues have been addressed in the new update. Furthermore, owners of Asus VG27WQ and Acer XV253Q monitors can now access the highest display refresh rate within NVIDIA's Control Panel app, an option that was reported missing around version 531.41.
